Working remote, from home is the best thing about the job.

Horrible bosses, terrible policies, zero respect from management, customers are allowed to belittle and verbally abuse the reps. Cannot transfer to a supervisor, unless the caller uses racial slurs. Those that can't take calls, will be your superiors, and they will use phrases like, "We empower you!" But all they mean is- take calls, and then get them to do your survey and then hang up.

We used to have to come in every morning and stay in the office for at least an hour, then go out into the field, come back at least an hour before 5pm and stay in the office. They changed it so we only have to come in in the morning and it's so much nicer.

I really didn't get along with the sales manager. On my first day, the manager who hired me announced he was leaving. About two weeks into my employment, the new sales manager wanted to make crazy changes to show his authority. It went downhill from there. He made major cutbacks and the things he kept where supposed to be thought of as gifts, such as bottled water.
