Vantaggi

COLLEAGUES. The social justice movement. The clients. The actual work.

Svantaggi

Executives are ego maniacs. No HR department. Many staff meetings involved forced vulnerability exercises. Employees were fearful of looking like they weren’t an “org culture fit” if they didn’t participate. Leadership does not live up to organizational values or mission. Executives used harmful behaviors such as gaslighting and gate keeping to manipulate and exploit employees. The social justice movement was weaponized by leadership regularly. It is not a people centered. It is business centered. It is money centered.

Vantaggi

Anti-harassment work brings unique challenges and everyone on the team is great about offering someone support and just generally checking in about well-being.

Svantaggi

Anti-harassment work while inspiring can also be depleting. Maintaining a healthy work/life balance when tackling issues of racism, sexism, and homophobia on a daily basis is at times a challenge.

Vantaggi

Staff who worked there were great. The culture is aspirational with many supportive benefits such as professional development stipends. Many opportunities to connect with staff and have "fun" at work even in a remote environment.

Svantaggi

They haven't clearly outlined how to measure the impact of their work or the strategic direction needed to make a vision-aligned impact. The "culture cons" have been adequately outlined in other reviews.
