Svantaggi
First off, when I first started working for Rite Aid, the company was pretty great. I enjoyed my fellow employees, managers and District Management. Though this was when I was just 17 years old. As soon as I arrived at my current job, my manager was terminated for letting someone sell ice cream in our parking lot. The manager worked at the same location for 12 years prior to this incident. This shows no loyalty to loyal employees. During my employment, we have since went through appx. 7 managers and thus, the store's quality has went downhill. Our original Pharmacists gave up and went to CVS and another started his own independent Rx. Due to their leaving, the Pharmacy's sales have dropped dramatically. So, I would have to say Rite Aid has poor management skills in the District level of the company. Also, I would like to comment on the pay. I have worked at Rite-Aid for going on 3 years and I am currently holding the position of Pharmacy Cashier, Front End Cashier, Photo Clerk, Pharmacy Technician. I also do a lot of minor repairs around the store and do a several of the manager's duties. I also know more about the store's registers and policies then my supervisors as I seem to be advising them what to do often when they get lost. I am currently getting $6.75 an hour. Barely above minimum wage. I would love to work for another Drug Retail chain but with the economy like it is, I am forced to grin and bare it as I smile and help the customers while the management of the store sit in the office and eat Arby's and talk all day. I only hope other Rite Aid stores are managed more better than the one I work at.
