Genuine technical expertise is routinely sidelined in favour of mandates issued from above. - There is a growing impression that the European engineering teams are being systematically sidelined in favour of US operations, which further detaches decisions from regional expertise. - Internal politics and personal loyalty consistently take precedence over sound business or technical decisions. This has cultivated a rather toxic situation where a highly capable workforce is expected to simply comply with directives rather than being trusted to solve problems effectively. - The culture leans heavily towards sales at the expense of a coherent product focus.
