they really don't understand the process of selling IT professionals versus selling administrative people. They think that cold calling and sitting at the office all day long on the phone is the way to generate business. It works on the Accountemps and Office Team side, but in IT, you need to build relationships, and they put no emphasis on that in the sales role. Markups are way to high any more in this market. Way too much turnover in the STL office to ever compete with the big boys in the market.
