I can only speak from my experience. The negatives far outweighed the positives. - You get paid on time. - Most people you work with are nice and supportive. - Free daily breakfast and alcohol on Fridays.

Too many negatives, but the main ones I can think of are: - Do not expect to perform the same roles as in the job description advertised. I was hugely oversold on the role. - New management came on board recently and destroyed the culture that once made Rockend a good place to work. - Enforced scheduled start/finish times and breaks. - Huge emphasis on "customer experience" resulting in forced changes most people at Rockend are not happy with. Management are disregarding employee wellbeing. - Turnover rate is starting to go through the roof due to recent changes that came along with new management. This is very obvious with people leaving in droves on an almost daily basis. - The support teams are being indoctrinated to get them to accept working in a soulless call centre with the included micro management, monitoring and control that come with it. - Very little to no career or learning opportunities. I was stuck performing the same mundane tasks on a daily basis. I was actually losing valuable skills gained in past roles working at Rockend. - Any employee perks are slowly being removed one after another (e.g. free gym membership). - Drug use is evident in the culture. - Rockend's current vision and goal is extremely unrealistic and bordering on the ridiculous.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and experiences to us. As the leader of the Customer Experience Team I am always wanting to hear the thoughts and insights of our current and previous employees. To this point I thought that I would share that I (and the other senior leaders) review all of our on-boarding and exit interviews. For Rockend to continue to deliver outstanding Customer Experiences I am passionate in building amazing employee experiences as well one cannot occur without the other. I acknowledge that we have seen people leave the business and whilst we hate to lose our team members, this doesn’t mean that we are not focussed on internal growth and career development, we are. Just recently we have run themed days and meals for our employees over EOFY which is one of our busiest times. We are launching a new tool to allow our employees to provide us feedback on their work, customer feedback and our environment. These are just a few of the things that we are working on. As we move Rockend into its next chapter and work aggressively towards our vision we will need to adapt and refine. My team and I hold ourselves accountable to doing this in a way that brings our people on the journey with us, and we will seek our teams’ opinions. We have to be customer AND employee focussed if we are to maintain our position as a leader in the market and grow exponentially. This will mean that we listen even more to what our customers want and when they want it. To do this we have to run an efficient operation and this will mean changes, so that our customers get served quicker, our teams are trained and developed as we evolve.
