- Employee development not consistent/homogenous - some "young guns" are handed the keys via hand-picked development opportunities, others are simply thrown in the "deep end" and left to sink or swim - "Nano-management" style seems to have taken over, making some aspects of the engineering work a "drag"; the company wants things to be done faster and faster, yet management keeps putting more "hoops to jump through" into our path
