small team so are close knit

not very flexible with hours

Lovely friendly staff which really made working there worth it, Plenty of hours and never went on to too late in the evening, staff discount, a very lovely store with good products. The directors did come in often to check how things were going and even do a few shifts which was appreciated.

Pay isn't great, it seems that the people who got hired when it opened were on a lot more money than those who got hired a few months after the opening even if we are all doing the same job. I found the management in certain departments lacking, including mine at the time. I did constantly get undermined by my deputy manager, if they are still working there I do not know. Any complaints I made got ignored, they were very aware of the issues people had with one particular person in my department at the time yet ignored whatever was said, she had no talking too and she even left but they rehired her after a month as our deputy manager again despite complaints that she was horrible and a bully.
