Royston’s Jasper office has a stagnant work environment that lacks advancement opportunity. This is where ambition goes to die. It’s an old boys’ club with all the politics that come with it. At the Atlanta plant, they have fired three engineering managers within two years. If you’re offered this role, don’t get comfortable. Turnover is incredibly high. In fact, they just fired every single person they had left on their engineering team. Problems in other departments cause delays in Engineering, and they think the solution is to just fire people and start over. This turnover further compounds the problem. New engineers inherit a mess and are expected to clean up while also getting ahead. You’re set up to fail. At Royston, managers would rather drive their employees into the ground than invest time in improving efficiency. They routinely expect salaried employees to come in early, stay late, and work on Saturdays to make up for lost productivity, even if the problem is with another department. The entire company is incredibly unethical, and HR is part of it.
