Enjoyed it a quite a lot

No real downsides at all

The company leadership team is mature and openly shares the company objectives with enough detail to allow new team members to identify priorities and contribute meaningfully (even in growth stage). As an employee, it quickly becomes apparent that the product you are working on is meaningful and important to the future of the health care industry in the United States. This is a more powerful motivator than I could imagine. The Chicago HQ office is located about a block away from the Morgan green line CTA stop and that is only one stop away from the Ogilvie Metra station, so commuting from the suburbs is as convenient as possible. The overall benefits and perks seem to be of very high quality. The president addresses policy changes head on, with the whole team listening. Everyone I have met so far is engaged with their work and the positive attitudes in the office re-enforce and maintain this atmosphere. I have worked here for just over a month, hopefully I will be back soon to update this review.

You won't find formal training or a structured task list. You have to use intuition and critical thinking to figure out what to do. I don't view this as a con. I view it as an opportunity to express functional creativity in a collaborative team of well educated peers. However, this could be a con for some people.
