Great mission, good team, loved the office environment.

Food loving group, gained some weight during my time (not much of a con).

The company offers pretty competitive benefits, 401K matching and flexibility. The company president really cares about the company, customers, and employees. The company product is unique and has a huge impact on chemical safety. There is a lot of variety in daily tasks so most positions are not monotonous. The company is small, in the process of growing to mid-size, so there is potential for growth. Recent re-organization is focused on developing talent from within. So if you work hard, it will be noticed.

The company was previously top heavy and the recent departures and re-organization are addressing this. However this means that the company is in a temporary state of flux as positions are filled and new roles are developed. At times employees can wear many different hats which can strain resources and project management. Limited resources and staff also mean that at time the best solution to a problem is not feasible which maybe frustrating. Follow through from some management is dependent on the employee being a squeaky wheel. Communication seems to be a one way street with some management which can become tedious or annoying.
