The company does not embrace telecommuting. The policy is rigid and has some bizarre requirements. Major restructuring every few years leaves people confused and unsettled.
Functional spending has been cut so low it's hurting more than helping. There is no relief in sight, but it's very hard to do our work when we have such little flexibility. It also seems to vary largely between departments - some still seem to have an inflated budget for events and travel, while others have nothing.
