Difficult place to work - Recensione dipendente - Systems Engineer presso SCW Consulting

I love the variety of tasks I am challenged with daily. The culture is dynamic, light hearted and fun. You do not have to worry about a hostile politically correct agenda, hidden motives, or a cut throat environment. The people here are real and we function like a family. There is high quality collaboration between team members which results in abundant learning opportunities and camaraderie. The owner is extremely knowledgeable, fair and runs a tight ship. Systems are well thought out and processes are documented for easy replication. I gave this Company 5 stars overall despite some of the measured metrics being a tad lower.

I do not see these cons as negative however some sensitive individuals might find the environment unsuitable. Employees are not coddled here, you either rise to the occasion or fail to meet expectations. There are opportunities to learn and grow but nothing is handed to you on a silver platter. If you wish to advance you must demonstrate your eagerness to step up to the plate and prove you are ready for new responsibilities. This is a fast paced environment where dedication, skill and an appetite for learning is essential.

This is a small close knit company that I enjoyed working for. The environment is relaxed, positive, collaborative and flexible. Our team was fun to work with every day and having ‘beer Friday’s’ was icing on the cake!

Other than not offering health insurance because the company was so small I can’t think of any. I really loved my job here!
