I still can’t believe how crazy that place was. My manager acted like some kind of god who expected everyone to worship him, and if you didn’t, you were immediately on his bad side. The environment was so hostile that even normal conversations felt like walking on eggshells. People were constantly pretending to be happy just to survive another day.
