      This is a very diverse environment (from a technical point of view). You'll get the chance to work on various technologies and gain experience/exposure that you would only gain elsewhere if working 3-4 jobs at the same time. Great for learning new things. One other thing - there's no micromanagement , so you get to enjoy doing your work rather than having to report every hour status progress and what not. Management is supportive of new ideas/proposals.

      Somehow flat organization. No going up the ladder, if that's what you're aiming for. If you're a technical person, then this will be perfect.

      Lack of continuous professional development programs for majority of the employees; lack of opportunity for advancement.

      I like the fact that we get involved in lots of areas of the company. Although I am an IT Manager, I am involved in helping to develop new products, with Marketing and with getting our mature products in shape. It is nice to have your CEO asking your opinion on what we should be doing. And they are flexible with work/life balance issues. The company also really cares about the people here and tries to solicit our opinions on many topics.

      Overall compensation is fair. Sometimes it would be nice to see the overall plan for what we are doing and where we want to go. Much of the time I think we are just fixing problems instead of really moving forward. But we do a very good job of keeping our products in good shape. So, my only real con would be in not always knowing what the big picture is and where we plan on going as a company.

      Creating and sharing more definitive action plans is a real time goal of management. We try and share as much as we can, but the nature of our company is be agile and capitalize on market trends. Therefore, we will always be reactive to the changing needs of our customers and to be attractive to new customers. Thank you very much for your input. We appreciate it and will work with it to make SRVR even better.
