Leadership can be volatile—plans or projects can be abruptly changed or scrapped without explanation. This constant change in priorities can be demoralizing and leaves employees feeling undermined and unable to grow. Job titles also often don’t align with actual responsibilities, adding to the overall confusion. It’s widely recognized among staff that “blow-ups” can happen unexpectedly, and most employees have learned to stay quiet or disengage to avoid conflict.
