Most miserable place to work - Recensione dipendente - Bakery presso Safeway

Do not care about employee safety. Myself and peers have had multiple injuries with management never making the work place safer. Having to work around unsafe food temps, knowing it gets the town sick. Fast turn rate of employees. Overworking the employees that do their jobs and are not on drugs. Only management gets full time and benefits. Rest of staff will sometimes work 39 hours per week to not receive benefits. Safeway refuses to work with unions so you will be paying the union with every pay check and get nothing in return. Multiple fired for putting ice in their water. They fire anyone who they think is stealing "food" but keep hiring and allowing people that sexually harass and grope staff. Refuse to pay you overtime and make you work 12 hour days, will only pay you every time you threaten to quit.
