Sagenet was an awesome company built from the ground up. Lots of people have worked here for 10 or 20 years, since its founding. People who got hired here never left. Then it merged with SpaceNet and everything changed.
Nowadays pay is lower even if you get promoted. Notorious for adding responsibilities and roles without compensation.
Simply put, SageNet has been transformed into a top-down bureaucratic management that is financially unstable. Can't afford to pay people for their promotions. New hires are paid less than people who were hired before the merge.
There is lots of room for advancement with all the new executive positions they are creating, but they keep hiring from outside the company rather than promoting the people who have worked at SageNet for years.
