When you resign they make it as difficult as possible for you. They will drag it out for as long as they can - withholding paperwork and money owed to you. They will not inform HMRC unless pushed to do so by HMRC after you have shouted down the phone to them...and even then...they will drag that out. They DO NOT like issuing your P45. When you leave - and you will - just remember to leave around the 10th of the month as they process their paperwork in HR only once a month - which I believe is bull...they have made my life this last couple of months a living hell.....don't do it...
