Impossible to get in touch with higher ups...left after 2 and 1/2 weeks because I was offered a better job at another bank with better hours...I had to wait 3 weeks to be issued my first check because they pay biweekly ( bad enough ) and on Friday they deposited my check to my account then immediately reversed it because they had to adjust it. I called payroll and they said that is there policy and they would have to issue me an adjusted paper check after my bank gave notice that the funds were completely reversed. The payroll administrator finally returned my call after 4 days on Wednesday telling me she put it in the mail that afternoon and I should have it by Friday. Wouldn't you know today is Saturday and I still don't have it. I am a single mom and have had no paycheck for a month now because of this stupid bank. I will have my first paycheck from my new job this coming Friday. It is pretty pathetic to know that I will be paid from a job I started a week ago before I get paid from a job I started on 9/14!!! PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY! I should have been able to tell from the joke of a process it was to get in there in the first place...I should have listened to the other reviews before I said yes

Of all the companies I have worked for, Santander has had the strongest training program. The training was comprehensive, well-structured, and especially valuable for employees who are new to the banking industry. Additionally, Santander's ONE software is by far the most intuitive and user friendly banking platform I have used, making it easy to learn and navigate while supporting efficient daily operations.

Like most retail banking roles, there is a strong sales component. With fewer customers visiting branches due to online banking and ATMs, much of the day is spent making outbound calls to existing clients, trying to set appointments, and push products and services. While I understand the importance of sales in the industry, I personally felt there was significant pressure to prioritize sales goals over relationship building and client service, which I was not comfortable with.
