- Quality work/life balance - Management and colleagues who actually care for and value you as a person - Competitive pay with unlimited earning potential if you work hard enough - There's not so much of a thing as "cold calling" - as part of the distribution channel, your resellers/vendors know who you are as soon as you say "Scansource" - They sell and deliver wonderful value adds for their resellers and cross-market visibility to their vendors. You can feel confident that you're selling or representing a quality product - Corporation is big enough to offer all the benefits and perks you could want, but small enough that there's very little corporate douchebaggery

- There is a good ole boy network in play - upward mobility is largely dependent on who you know - Lots of "promotions" are actually lateral moves across business units - It's not all rainbows, lollipops and flowers - there's a fairly long ramp-up period if you're in sales, and on a bad day, dealing with certain resellers and/or vendors can be enough to drive you to drinking
