We appreciate you sharing a review, and we hope we’ve alleviated some of your frustrations in the time since your post. Last year, we had a record number of promotions within the broader company, and between company gifts, our employee break for the holidays, and communications from our executive team, we really hope you felt how much our organization values you and how critical you are to our success. All of those things are considered as an important investment in our people—they represent big pillars of the culture here at Schellman, where we are trying to create a great workplace for employees. Management frequently improves benefits. Management really knows the business well. The company has historically been well insulated from economic downturns. So many opportunities to stand out and make a name for yourself

The people. Peers are great to work with and very supportive. Some of the leaders in the teams are as well. Perks were GREAT but have slowly been taken away or the costs went up.

Where do I begin? Wholesale executive turnover. Technology projects that we're supposed to say are awesome but aren't really that great. They take up more time to figure out than they're worth and we know those are meant to take our jobs. AI, offshore, temp labor. No thanks. It was a place I loved working at but has slowly just become a job that makes me feel like I should be watching for somewhere else to go. Just in case. The culture has changed quite a bit too. It used to feel like a place where we all wanted to work together but that's slowly fading.
