I have been at the company for over a year now, and I can attest that the past Glassdoor reviews are still relevant today. The management team has done a fantastic job in ensuring our daily lives and work are "quality above all". From the great benefits (annual corporate trips, 10% 401K, quarterly company gifts, etc.) to the great team members you can work and learn from, this company has been a blessing in my career!
Svantaggi
Working in professional services is not for everyone! The client work can be intense, and the workload can sometimes be a lot. There will never be a dull day at the company so if this field is not for you, I would recommend another practice!

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback! We appreciate hearing about your personal experience, and all the benefits that you enjoy. We also appreciate the suggestions related to maintaining the culture and communication, both of which are top priority for our executive team. There are challenges in our industry, including a fast pace. While we promote a work-life balance, we recently adjusted our PTO benefits to add an extra week of time off for team members after two years of experience. During the year, we highly encourage team members to take their PTO. Thanks again and as always, feel free to provide any future ideas or further feedback to feedback@schellman.com.
Management frequently improves benefits. Management really knows the business well. The company has historically been well insulated from economic downturns. So many opportunities to stand out and make a name for yourself

Data driven decisions still a work in progress. Long term vision is likely 1 ish year.

Vantaggi
The people. Peers are great to work with and very supportive. Some of the leaders in the teams are as well. Perks were GREAT but have slowly been taken away or the costs went up.
Svantaggi
Where do I begin? Wholesale executive turnover. Technology projects that we're supposed to say are awesome but aren't really that great. They take up more time to figure out than they're worth and we know those are meant to take our jobs. AI, offshore, temp labor. No thanks. It was a place I loved working at but has slowly just become a job that makes me feel like I should be watching for somewhere else to go. Just in case. The culture has changed quite a bit too. It used to feel like a place where we all wanted to work together but that's slowly fading.
