They pay is very low. The company culture prioritizes profits over basic employee satisfaction. Also the experience depends on the environment of the medical facility you work in. Initially I worked in an ED, which was teamwork oriented and valued its employees and in this position I learned a great deal and enjoyed coming in to work despite the pay. In my current location at a primary care clinic, the employees are difficult to deal with, and the environment isn't very friendly. Other scribe companies tend to pay more to start out also.
