This is why being a medical scribe is such a great experience as you really do get to see firsthand how medicine functions, which is something you really can’t get from other jobs or volunteer work.epending on the area you work in, we always recommend working with your direct supervisor to determine if you are able to be cross-trained in a different specialty of medicine, or at another facility, so that you are always seeing unique cases, find a location with more suitable hours for your availability, and continuing to grow in your role. We do like to promote from within and a large portion of our higher level management/corporate roles/etc all started out as scribes.
