Average company to work for - Recensione dipendente - CAD Engineer presso SeaSpace

Disclaimer - my last year of employment was prior to 2019, so my review may be out of date. The product was amazing, an incredible opportunity to learn about remote sensing. The colleagues were great and my direct boss at that time as my first real mentor who taught me invaluable lessons about elegant software design (Terascan software was incredibly elegant, I feel privileged to have a chance to contribute to it).

San Diego is not Silicon Valley, don’t expect high salaries. But Southern California has lot to offer in return. Frankly, for me growing as software engineer was far more important and I could not think of a better place.

Challenging work environment, interesting people, management allows for open-ended projects headed by yourself

The company's culture of open-ended projects and ability to lead projects from the very beginning may feel intimidating to some. However, if you enjoy being in control of your own projects, this company has much to offer.
