I worked in the electronic department and all I did was sit there and watch Planet Earth from 9:45 to 6. They only hired me based on the fact I was coming from Best Buy so i "must've been good". They told me that, unprofessional. They shoved credit apps down my throat like no tomorrow and 60% of the Elearnings you're going to take is about 1 of the 9 useless credit cards that sears has. I wasn't trained properly either. I was told to come in and sit in a chair, stair at a screen for as long as I want to get the leanings done. That's not how you train someone. Online lessons are reasonable but not when there's over 100 of them and you're put into isolation to do them. When I was being trained on the floor MY FIRST 2 HOURS I was alone. I didn't know how to operate the ghetto cash register (on a side note, WOW, update anytime soon??) nor did I know where anything was. I was supposed to shadow and pitch plans and apps that I wasn't even trained on, so went of my knowledge that I had, then got yelled at cause I pitched wrong. Management is.... wow not management. They need to clean house and I mean really clean house.
