I normally don't write reviews, but I wish I had paid more attention to the negative ones before accepting this role. If you're considering joining this company, I'd encourage you to read the reviews carefully and ask detailed questions during the interview process. In my experience, the biggest issue was leadership. I found leadership to be inconsistent and ineffective. There was a significant lack of direction, accountability, professionalism, and respect from executive leadership and sales management of the Deal Desk function. I found that decisions were inconsistent, policies often not enforced, and leadership regularly undermined the very processes I was asked to build. Exceptions became the norm, and responsibility is shifted elsewhere when problems arise. I was hired to build and lead the Deal Desk function, but I ultimately felt that its purpose was not well understood or valued. Deal Desk is more than an approval workflow—it requires human judgment to evaluate commercial risk, apply policy, and balance the needs of Sales, Finance, Legal, and the business. This company made it clear they think Deal Desk can be 100% automated. I do not recommend this company. I resigned after 7 months.
