As someone who has made sales and marketing my profession, since I discovered at the age of 18 that this is the best way to directly effect my paycheck, I feel I have some context as to make judgment. This company, it's founders and it's employees, embody the idiology of what it means to be entrepreneurs, salesman, motivated and above all living the American dream. I have yet to meet a team that is as hungry for success as they are in seeing their peers succeed. There is ample room for those who fight and none for those who dont.

The cons, if I must, are just the same as any other sales job, there are ups and downs. Ebb and flow. This, however, is the point. Who wants a same ol same ol. You go into sales because its your PASSION, it's your choice. You enjoy the challenge and even more, what you learn about business. I have no CONS other than I don't still work there.

You can make good money. Good commission structure, Bonuses, and Specials. Management know what they are doing. Training good. CRM average. Business model is good for beginner to average salesman. True professionals will feel like they are babysitting. Industry does not lend to true professional sales, not Securus's Issue.

Sales leads are weak at best, outright lies on sheet. I believe that fact that they pay marketers per appointment causes this. Not true leads. Sales meeting at 11am and sales training at 11:30am, right in middle of day for east coasters. They have a 8am and 7pm but not same meeting. While on an appointment management wants to talk to customer, that is their business model. True professional do not need management talking with their customer in middle of an appointment. CRM is a work in progress, definitely usable as is. This is a sign at all cost model. Any customer worth their salt will check reviews online and Securus makes no effort to help themselves in that concern. The people making the big money are travelers, first call close, no relationship leads to bad customer relations and bad reviews. 1099 NO BENEFITS
