Vantaggi

A lot of PTO, high pay if you’re coming straight out of college, good starting point to get into the industry if you’re interested in claims/insurance.

Svantaggi

Dishonest hiring practices, terrible training, no instructional material just disjointed homemade word docs from people before you. Very little support. Team leads are so overworked that they have no time to support their reports. Strict with work from home for new hires while long term employees never come to the office creating this black hole where new hires sit with no experienced individuals to refer to for quick questions. PTO is the only worthwhile benefit. There’s no team building activities and when you finish “training” if you’re in IAP they toss you into a case load that you won’t know how to handle. This place operates with a skeleton crew for most clients so other team members are hard to reach to ask questions. People who have been here for decades openly languish about what they hate about this company, management talk about how there’s no such thing as time off. The workload after returning from PTO feels like punishment and everyone is so busy that coverage can’t actually cover your case load. Sometimes callers from cases that got transferred to you will talk about how they haven’t been able to reach someone via phone for months. Also of note: the diversity and inclusion training video was shockingly offensive. What is the companies culture?

Vantaggi

The benefits are okay I suppose but they'll deduct your PTO from your severance pay. It's basically a ripoff loan.

Svantaggi

-Constant harassment and hounding from Team Leads. -Unrealistic expectations for case load productivity. Mind you, the maximum expected amount of diaries to be completed is 80+. You're expected to make and take calls while also juggling case notes, emails, and Teams messages that pull you away from your current task. And the workload is moved constantly, regardless of an employee is absent, tardy, or even still present despite being heavy across the board. But you're expected to finish it all "productively" within 8 hours. No overtime and minimal assistance. -Good audit scores don't matter. You could have 98% to 100% , leadership will burn you for missing a few notes or if you're behind on other people's work while also being behind on yours. They say they're understaffed but they refuse to hire more people unless it's your replacement. -You're practically working on a sinking ship.
