In just the few months that I have been here, I have already had the chance to manage projects that impact the global organization. Management puts faith in the people they hire, and it shows through the autonomy you are given and promotional opportunities available. Sensient is going through a sort of cultural transformation, which is really exciting to be a part of. Leadership is very accessible and open to feedback. Anyone can make an impact on the business here, and new ideas are welcomed and encouraged. The team here is very supportive and fun. Everyone wants to see you succeed, therefore everyone is very willing to help. It's easy to feel like you fit in from the first day. Good pay, unlimited sick days, a lot of paid holidays, food and drink in the breakroom, and the chance to travel are all nice perks!

Sensient is not for the faint of heart. This could be a pro or con, depending on how you look at it. It's a very challenging environment, and can be rather intimidating for a newcomer. The business is complex and learning it all can be a daunting task. There is a ton of work to be done, so coasting through the day and taking long lunches won't fly here. You have to truly dedicate yourself to the work. It's a business professional environment, so prepare to wear a suit every day (even friday!).
