I've been here for about 10 years, and Sensient helped build my career in a lot of ways. I've been lucky to have some good managers along the way who advocated for me, and I do feel like I progressed faster here than I would have elsewhere. The pay is competitive and the benefits are fine enough. I also really enjoy the people I work with - lots of strong experts who care about the work they do.

The dress code and working in office rules are pretty strict and lack flexibility. I know leadership doesn't care that people don't like it, and it's not enough for me personally to leave the company over. It just seems like they dig their heels in on it for the sake of it and are afraid that if they give people some latitude on it, they'll lose control - fear based instead of evidence based. Bonus program also seems very narrowly focused.
