Vantaggi
-Co-workers were nice -Pay was decent enough for high school or college kid -Good place to get on the map in regards to jobs
Svantaggi
-Will do anything to prevent taking full time employees so they don't give benefits -Management was an absolute mess -Customers were terrible -Pricey I worked here during a couple of summers in college. While I'm glad it got me my first part time job, it was often unpleasant. I told them when I was coming back to work again and when I got there, it was as though they had no idea. And because of that I was never put on an actual schedule like the rest of my coworkers. I had to call an old supervisor at the beginning of each week for times and days I could come into work. It was all arbitrary as to when I'd come in too, he'd just pick days and times at random-- which was a pain when I wanted to schedule things outside of work. And when I couldn't get in contact with him, I was just out of luck. When I called others in management they said they'd try to get me on schedule, but it was "night time" store, which was not true considering there were plenty of empty cash registers there in the morning when I got there that only a handful of people were using. If they had no open spots left for me, they should have just let me go so I could get another job. They never trained me on registers like they said they would either. I couldn't clock in or out with ease and had to find a supervisor to override the system every time and then I was getting yelled at by some new supervisor about wasting time when I'm trying to do my job. With the added bonus of customers being incredibly condescending and rude frequently, I really hated working here. I stuck around for the co-workers and even they started leaving left and right and I couldn't blame them.
