      There was a time that Shift Paradigm, formerly Trendline Interactive, had many benefits to working there, both implicit and tangible. However, in recent times these benefits (not actually heakthcare benefits) have become more and more restricted, leaving only a few items left for employees to utilize. Some of the benefits that you have as an employee at Shift Paradigm include; - Remote working conditions and flexibility - 14+ days of paid vacation - Work from home stipend (offsetting internet costs) - Wellness stipend - Opportunity to work abroad

      Over the last several years the working environment at Shift Paradigm significantly deterioriated with the highest contributing factors being; - The lack of available resourcing to consume and produce quality work leading to overbooked workloads with no support for extended periods of time - Consistent changes in internal policies and teams leading to confusion around roles and responsibilities and resulting in a ''everyone does everything'' sort of environment - Lack of career planning for employees leading to no clear trajectory for how one can grow in the organization along with being shifted into roles that an employee may not want due to a desperate team on that account - Lack of transparency over policies with grey areas specifically surrounding the vacation policy which is ''unlimited'' - Emphasis on new sales opportunities over already earned clients, leading to a lack of support and focus needed to equip the client team with necessary tools and employees to succeed, leading to the deterioration of work quality

      Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate your time and candor. We are working on many of the issues you raised because we care about our employees and the culture surrounding them. We have several teams working on different aspects of issues raised in the latest employee survey that will provide initiatives and solutions to many of the issues you raised.       Lots of room to create your own structure and process. Respectful that employees are people. The organization actually cares about DEI, operationally, not just as lip service. Tons of opportunity for learning. Thoughtful CEO, who communicates clearly.

      It is a difficult industry space for an org to enter, and I don't know anyone who does full service consultancy + agency particularly well. If you're gritty and you like creating your own structure, this can also be a pro.

      You will be a fool to seek any pros here. It's not a decent workplace for people who want clear boundaries and hope to enjoy some work-life balance. These awful people will never respect the lines you draw.

      The work expectations were ridiculously high. Employees were expected to be available 24/7, work on multiple projects, and meet client expectations while balancing poorly assigned deadlines. It was a struggle to show up every day when you knew they expected too much from you. It was exhausting to try to reason with the arrogant leadership that did nothing but pile horrible expectations. They also didn't give me enough room to grow. My learning stopped, and I was doing boring work for months. There was no career growth, either. Overall, it was a horribly frustrating experience, and I escaped before I could be trapped here for long.

Your feedback about workload expectations, work-life balance, and development opportunities is taken seriously. We recognize that unrealistic deadlines and unclear boundaries can lead to burnout, and this is not the environment we want to create. Our new leadership is working to actively address these issues.
