      It was alright at first. Malaysia studio was the first studio for Shuttlerock since 2018 before Vietnam and Mexico studio, both start to operate in 2022 onwards. Wage rate is good considering our lower currency. HQ people often come visit the studio etc (Welp doesn't matter anymore since there will be no Shuttlerock Malaysia anymore)

      It all goes south in April 2025. Malaysia studio received a verbal notice about the closure with short notice. No proper retrenchment process, all seems rushed. We just moved to a newer office and the renovation is still ongoing. Imagine the shock. They are giving 'goodwill' payment but it was less than a month salary for some of us despites our contributions to the company.
