I like helping people reach their goals. I like to see our clients succeed. I love hearing the clients talk about stress reduction, increased happiness in their office and fulfillment in their careers.

The people out there that don't understand what it is that I/We do and then try to undermine it.

Silkin has a great training process. They give you a complete job description right at the start, and for the most part they stick to it, so you'll know exactly what to do and how to do it. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the location is beautiful. The clients are, for the most part, friendly as well. Hours are SUPER consistent, and you will almost never be asked to stay late or work on the weekends. There seems to be lots of opportunity to move up in this company, if you're willing to stick with them and work your way up.

The biggest con to me was the fact that everything was monitored to the point of being controlling. Even if I wanted to leave a few minutes early, and stay a few minutes later the next evening to make up for it, I was asked to make a formal request before I could do so. They also do not like to pay overtime, and will finagle your schedule to make sure they do not have to pay you any overtime. They do not offer employee benefits, but their PTO system seems fairly competitive.
