There’s absolutely no room for progression, no matter how hard you work, you’ll remain stuck in the same role with no opportunities to move up. Senior laboratory management are completely disengaged, unapproachable, and frankly rude. There’s a pervasive culture of distrust where you constantly feel like you’re being watched rather than supported. Pay is poor and nowhere near competitive for the workload and expectations. HR are unprofessional and largely unhelpful, often making situations worse rather than resolving them. Instead of nurturing talent, the company seems to actively push good people out. Training is virtually non-existent, leaving new starters to struggle through with little to no guidance. Overall, a frustrating and demoralising place to work that does nothing to value its employees. Please DO NOT work here.
