Vantaggi
- Empowerment & ownership: Simple empowers its employees to own and run with their work. If you see a problem or opportunity, you have easy avenues to raise attention to it and propose or run with a solution. - Simple has a fantastic culture. People are there for the customer-centric mission, and that pervades how they treat each other, as well. People are kind, respectful, and fun -- and there is a fervent belief in (and action behind) the importance of honoring diversity. - Simple is fast-paced and agile. It's a fantastic environment for people who value positive change and who want to work for a company that values innovating and addressing challenges head-on. - Transparency. The leadership values transparency wherever possible. The company has regular company-wide meetings to address a variety of topics and a range of performance dashboards accessible to anyone in the company. Many of the leadership meetings are open to a wide range of participants. - Fantastic benefits. Simple has a great range of benefits, including the standards and a number of less standard benefits (e.g., great parental leave, flexible working hours/location, great insurance, a supportive People team)
Svantaggi
- Some of the most critical functions at Simple (e.g., product, marketing) are still relatively junior and would benefit from some stronger and more experienced hires. On the upside, this means that mature, experienced hires will find a ton of leadership opportunities -- but, on the downside, it can mean those hires aren't being pushed by others and don't have their own leaders to learn from. - As a result of moving quickly and being agile (a pro), Simple can feel fairly chaotic. It isn't a great environment for people who are looking for stability and consistency.
