I sit here worrying about my future job prospects. A year ago the company cut loose several staff members from their Peterborough office and now exactly a year later the office is being threatened with redundancy and closure. Sure this happens in business but does it really happen whilst you’re simultaneously promoting the opening of a new office and asking for people to join due to exponential growth? I now sit here in a different office to that affected worrying, will I be next? Are the investor group getting bored of their little toy? Will I be out of a job unexpectedly? It’s even worse when posts are made to LinkedIn stating that “we wouldn’t be here without our wonderful agents” I mean what a kick in the teeth to all the hard working staff you employ. That post made me feel worthless. It’s hard to give any comfort to anyone seeking a job here. I can only advise you to steer well clear, I and many others are considering our options before the ship sinks. The outlook on the long term business I would say is bleak.
