Vantaggi
• All the work is for the next day. No pressure • work with colleagues rather than with the general public - it is repetitive , predictable in a good way • Never have to worry about how crazy or busy it will be (like a community / hospital dispensary), no more Sunday blues wondering how much you’ll hate manic Monday (eg: in hospital or community pharmacy) • Barely any phone calls from customers • No patient contact whatsoever - good for people who are not good with patients • Good pay, paid hourly (not salary). So any OT you will get paid fairly as it uses a clock in clock out system unlike hospitals • take work seriously but relaxed team that is also able to have fun • Friday’s get less busy - not more busy (unlike community and hospital) due to the nature of work. • closed on saturdays. • generally don’t need to work sundays or Public Holidays.
Svantaggi
Limited career progression. It’s more for pharmacists who enjoy quality control and aseptic manufacturing concepts, whilst also wanting a 9-5 type job where you can earn you keep, clock out physically (and mentally) and enjoy your home life and not take work home with you mentally unlike hospital and community pharmacy.
