Slalom 100% keeps the promise of work/life balance that they make to their consultants. However, consultants see that once their peers are promoted to jobs with additional responsibilities, the promise of work left balance is broken. The mandatory billable hour requirements of leadership roles do not come even close to making up for the additional responsibilities, so people in leadership work many more hours than consultants.
