The atmosphere at Smith Tea is exceptional. There is such a mutual respect and kindness between all departments. The high up positions to the just beginning workers are treated with equal respect and dignity. It is rare to find this level of work cohesiveness. I’m feel blessed to be part of this forward moving company. I recommend to anyone looking for an oasis from the typical burnt out grind work mindset. You really feel apart of the overall success. Brushes off serious allegations, employees told to "talk it out" Bugs, screws, plastic, rocks, hair clips, hair, dry mold: all routinely found in tea blends, we were told to keep working Refusal to equitably accommodate employees who primarily speak spanish despite continuing to hire them No consistent training procedures, other people getting paid the same (or sometimes less!) than you are teaching you how to pack They will overwork you. You will be doing the job of five people at once most of the time.
