- the people are the nicest ever. Smart, innovative, and they often go on to do bigger and better things after Snook - they have good fun at work, which is important to me - if you’re transitioning from a different sector the salary is good (but perhaps around 10k less than their competitors) - lots of staff w additional jobs (‘side hustles’) doing something good in the world. Employees really do have a heart of gold

- Staff retention. We had some incredible Head of disciplines join, leaving less than a year into their post pretty dissatisfied. - the focus has moved from working with some public sector and a few third sector clients to predominantly big public sector frameworks. However some projects are not in line with the environmental and social good Snook prides itself on. SLT support during this time was poor and it resulted in a huge wave of resignations and high levels of staff stress. - pay is too low for the work and there’s poor benefits, despite the parent company having a competitive benefits package, they’re not interested in extending that out to snook.
