The people are friendly and the work is generally quite interesting. You are able and encouraged to interact with people from all different work groups. The company is large enough that you can always move if you want to be doing something different.

The processes for compensation encourages mediocrity. After your performance review you are categorized as under performing, performing, or highly performing. Even if you exceed all of your goals for the year and have a fantastic performance review, unless you are considered in the top 5% by your department head you get rated as "performing" and are compensated the same as someone barely meeting goals.
