Super easy to get the job. Hiring 650+ new sales people every month. Break room is stacked with snacks. Good benefits. Hourly + Commission. My manager is great. Could be good money if your generate all your own business. Uncapped overtime.

-In talking with multiple senior reps, there success was developed with tools and avenues that have since been declared off limits. Pay is horrible compared similar jobs that require you to design, sell, and manage account for months. You get paid your commission upon installation which can take up to 8 months depending on where your client lives. This is a telemarketing job that pays $11.75 per hour. - Growth: the company is hiring 650+ sales people per MONTH. We help a customer go solar roughly every 3 minutes. So basically the company has between 5000-6000 sales people throughout the company (with no designated territory). this means roughly 5000 people go home every day having made no real money. This is an $11.75/hour telemarketing job. -Expected 50-70 hour work weeks.

Just to quantify my review a bit, I am within the top 10% of inside sales reps within our 12,000 person company. It is a great place to work and people doing well ARE able to make good money here. The executive team ALWAYS has a platform for reps to help make SolarCity a better place every quarter. They involve the top 20 reps each quarter in various ways to help their peers through an interactive group called Team Elite. Executives, VP's, Directors, and Managers are always willing to help and go to bat when there are issues with things that need to be fixed. The direction of the company is consistent and although the company is large, decision makers work as hard as possible to steer the big ship quickly when necessary.

Svantaggi

Knee jerk reactions with decision making at a director level create issues from time to time. Culture has had its ups and downs due to HUGE growth last year and subsequent high attrition rates.
