Before I left, the people were great. Before the acquisition, leadership was great.

Laid off a bunch of people without rhyme nor reason as to who was selected. Mass exodus ensued. Leadership makes decisions without consulting those in the trenches. Technological direction is backwards. Planning projects became impossible because decisions were made very high up and communicated via rumor and speculation. Leadership seems extremely disconnected from what's actually going on in the company. Culture degraded as people left. No longer felt like I had any stake in the company and was just there as a peon to do work passed down to me.
