4yThank you for your well thought out feedback. I am glad that that you were able to see how important a positive culture is to us here. If you ever attended any of our All Hands meetings, or have heard our CEO Andy talk on the subject, you will know that having an inclusive environment where our teams can safely bring their whole selves to work is of the utmost importance to us and that that belief really does come from the very top down. Which is why reading about your experience with your direct manager is so challenging. We never want anyone to feel alone or isolated during their time here. We know how critical it is to have supportive and effective managers, both for the individuals that report into them and for the success of the company as a whole. Our managers should (of course) be good at their jobs but, more importantly, serve as mentors and coaches to the employees that interact with them. It is because of this that we have implemented programs like our manager bootcamps for newly hired and newly promoted leaders, to give them the tools that they need to be successful leaders. I am sorry that you did not know the options for providing feedback and where to go to be heard. We always want employees to have a place where they can share feedback in a comfortable way. We encourage employees to talk to HR or their Senior Leader in cases similar to yours, and for those who may not feel comfortable doing that, we do have ways of reporting anonymously as well. Nobody at Sovos should ever fear retaliation for speaking out about something that they feel is unfair. I am sorry that you had the experience that you did. If you still want to reach out, I would be more than happy to connect. I wish you the best of luck as you move forward in your career.
