Currently have only worked here a few months but this is my general impression: - Cross communication between all departments and people are generally very happy to show you what they're working on or teach you something new - Free lunch on Tuesdays - SpectraWAVE really takes their time hiring and their teams reflect that - Has the stereotypical ping pong table that many startups have and its frequently used - Not only gives you the tools and resources to succeed but management also invests in your career development and takes the time to ask you about your own goals. - Gives you a lot of freedom to explore ideas but also guides you with lots of feedback - Little to no micromanagement (high trust environment)

I did notice during my hiring process that there were no women in the executive team which made me nervous about my own career development, but they've clearly been hiring more women across departments and promotions seem very well-earned.

Most employees are very welcoming and nice. Very helpful and easy to get along with.

Some office workers are very stand off. No responses to common courtesy. No smiles, good mornings or thank you’s for example like opening the door for them. They won’t say anything at all and just walk right by you making eye contact.
