Mostly dedicated workers, great product, terrific customer base, recognizable company, opportunity to grow, president who cared about employees

Young workers who didn't dedicate to their jobs, too much chattering and drama, financial issues, some upper level employees not in right seats

Delicious product well received in greater Grand Rapids, Michigan market. Good handful of staff dedicated to running stores in four locations. Bakery in-house with wide variety. Locations conveniently located in communities they served. Owner was terrific to work with, good vision and energy. Well recognized business.

Lack of funding to run business; always had to stay one step ahead of vendors. Seasonal product, winters were difficult to keep profitable even with creative ideas, marketing, and great product. One retail location poorly chosen with no due diligence which eventually affected overall profitability.
