      I absolutely love Sport Clips! I've worked for Sport Clips for 8 years, would've been 8 1/2 but I left the company for about 6 months. I decided to try barbershop to try a new experience in the same industry. It made me appreciate Sport Clips so much more and everything about it. Our values, culture, staff and clientele are like none other. Sport Clips truly cares about their stylists and want/give you the tools to succeed! I will never leave this company again unless I decide to take a break from hair all together. It's fun and you make great money! Plus, there's ALWAYS room for advancement!

      Nights and weekends are a requirement, some stores are closed Sundays and you may be able to negotiate your schedule. The more flexible you are with your availability the more hours you'll get. Not a con because we are busy and it's worth it!

      The pay is excellent as long as you’re performance is strong and especially if your flexible with your schedule and full time. But if you’re not a good performer or super part time, this might not be the best place for you.

      Great hourly pay with tips. Averaged about $38 to $40 an hour. Great starting place. They do offer training. The co-workers were nice at my location. Management does help you with flexible scheduling so if you have children, it works out great.

      Burnout is real. Expected to complete service within an allotted short time. Too many clients come in that want expensive barbershop cuts but want to pay the lowest price (they really shouldn’t even go to sport clips for). Also, way too many clients with long hair wanting full scissor cuts. They won’t turn away clients even if the cuts they ask for are — are not something sport clips does or allows for a lot of time. TV’s get annoying after a while (too loud).
